1. To become a mom; I love kids and I've wanted to be a mom since I've been asked the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" 2. To become a rape crisis counselor; I have had people very close to me be victimized by this horrible crime, so I am trying to become an advocate for voices against sexual assault, sexual harassment, and rape. I have begun looking into working with men specifically, because their voices are less heard due to fears of reporting or lack of resources thereafter.
What really connects me to my friends is our sense of humor, our music taste, and marching band. Marching band has been such a big influence on me here at the university. I wouldn't trade marching band friends for anyone else because they know exactly what you're going through with time management, homework, and even problems learning music or handling stress. They have become a part of my family, and I love them.
I feel most alive when I can go out into a field back home, just lay down, and listen to the crickets chirping or the wind blowing through the trees. Also, I come from a small school, so any time I go back and watch the basketball games or field hockey games, I feel like I'm coming back and I feel more alive than ever. I love it and miss it so much.
